A short history of me......
Born in Stafford in 1965
Educated at: Flash lea Infants School, Rising brook High School.
Left school in 1981 to work for my brother at Gray electrics as an apprentice at the princely sum of £1.01 an hour. Went on to become fully trained and gaining my "c" certificate in electrical instalation.I worked for many years for Steve and owe most of how i developed in later life to my experiences at Grays. I only left when i decided it was time to see more of the world.
1992 joined the Prison Service, started at Stafford for my initial training and then to Full Sutton in York.If you want to know what the Prison Service is like please watch some of porrage and only a very little of badgirls..... In 2000 I transfered to HMP Wandsworth and enjoy working there, far better than at Full Sutton which is a maximum security prison.
Left the Prison service at the begining of the year, time to move on and not commute four hours a day. Now work at the YMCA in Brighton
Interests: over the years i have had many interests and hobbies including:
Scouts, and being a scout leader (left in 1995), Walking (not so much now), Bellringing, Rowing, British Sign Language, voluntary work with the York animals home and voluntary work with the S.O.S project and Allsorts in Brighton.
My other interest is in holidays, I have been around on my trekking and this web site is filled with the photos.
